Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using BlockMedic ("the Service"), operated by AMPZ Network ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By uploading a log file, registering an account, or otherwise using BlockMedic, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
BlockMedic is a diagnostic tool that analyses Minecraft and Hytale server/client log files and returns structured insights, error summaries, and recommendations. The Service is provided "as is" for informational purposes only. Optional user accounts are available and provide features such as session management, profile customisation, and linked third-party connections.
3. User Accounts
3.1 Registration
You may register for a free account using a username, email address, and password. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You may not register more than one account per person, or register on behalf of someone else without their permission.
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity that occurs under your account. You should:
- Use a strong, unique password.
- Enable two-factor authentication (2FA), which is available via authenticator app or email.
- Sign out of shared or public devices.
- Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
We will send a security alert email whenever a sign-in is detected from a new device or IP address. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain account security.
3.3 Account Termination by You
You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Deleting your account will permanently remove your personal data (including your email address, password hash, profile information, and active sessions) in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Log entries you have submitted are not automatically deleted when you close your account, but may be requested for deletion separately.
3.4 Linked Third-Party Accounts
You may optionally link your Discord or GitHub account to your BlockMedic account. You may unlink these connections at any time from your account settings. Linking a third-party account does not grant BlockMedic access to post or act on your behalf on that platform.
3.5 Usernames
Usernames must not impersonate another person or organisation, contain offensive language, or violate any third-party intellectual property rights. We reserve the right to reclaim or change usernames that violate these requirements.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Upload log files containing personal data belonging to others without their consent.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the API beyond its documented rate limits.
- Submit malicious payloads, intentionally malformed data, or content designed to exploit or degrade the Service.
- Use automated tooling to submit logs in excess of the published rate limits.
- Impersonate another user, server, or organisation.
- Attempt to access another user's account or session.
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban any account, IP address, or Discord server that violates these Terms without prior notice.
5. Log Data & Privacy
5.1 What We Store
When you submit a log, we store:
- The log content (text submitted).
- Metadata such as upload timestamp, file size, and detected Minecraft version/mod loader.
- Your IP address, used solely for rate limiting and abuse prevention.
5.2 Retention
Logs are stored for a limited period (typically 30 days) after which they are automatically deleted. Deletion may occur earlier at our discretion.
5.3 Access
Log URLs are unguessable but not private — anyone with the link can view a log. Do not submit logs containing sensitive credentials, passwords, or personal information you do not wish to be publicly accessible.
5.4 Sharing
We do not sell or share your log data with third parties, except as required by law or to operate the Service (e.g., database hosting).
6. Intellectual Property
The BlockMedic platform, including its analysis engine, branding, and user interface, is the intellectual property of AMPZ Network. You retain ownership of any log content you submit. By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee:
- The accuracy or completeness of analysis results.
- Continuous, uninterrupted availability of the Service.
- That the Service is free from errors or security vulnerabilities.
Use of analysis results is at your own risk. BlockMedic is a diagnostic aid — not a substitute for professional technical support.
8. Third-Party Services
The Service may interact with third-party services (e.g., Discord for bot functionality and OAuth login, GitHub for OAuth login, external IP geolocation providers for abuse prevention). We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of any third-party service.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be noted by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service, including your account, at any time and for any reason, without notice. Grounds include but are not limited to violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or abuse of the Service. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and ownership provisions) shall survive.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
